Healing ourselves from within is the first step in helping us live a purposeful and fulfilling life. Taking care of ourselves is not a luxury, it is a necessity if we want to live our life to the fullest. Chinese Medicine provides a number of tools to help us alleviate suffering and lead a more integrated life.

My first introduction to Chinese Medicine was through taking a college course on Qi Gong and meditation that included the Microcosmic orbit, the Inner Smile Meditation and the Six healing Sounds. Through these specific visualization and Qi cultivating exercises, I first experienced the visceral sensation of what it feels like to feel Qi. Qi is the invisible life force energy, or kinetic energy that permeates and animates all beings. After doing these practices, I would notice the sensation of a warm, tingling, excitable feeling within my body, this sensation was the cultivation of vital energy, or Qi. I became drawn to Chinese medicine because I realized that Qi cultivation exercises are just one of the many tools utilized within the system of Chinese Medicine to increase vitality. Chinese Medicine is a path to wellness because it teaches how to prevent disease as much as it helps heal disease.

happiness is the free flow of Qi

I have been treating clients as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine for over 6 years and have had the opportunity to treat a variety of disorders from chronic pain to depression with Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. My intention is to share the longevity practices that I’ve discovered throughout my studies in Chinese Medicine with others who are ready to improve their lives.
